Let’s start with a quick conversation so that I can find out where you are in the process.

Do you already have a website that simply needs to be updated?

Do you have some ideas about what you want but don’t know how to put it all together?

Are you starting entirely from scratch and don’t know how to begin?

Do you need help with a logo?

I can help with all these scenarios (and anything in between).

If you’re starting from scratch, I’ll schedule a 60-90-minute Zoom coffee/conversation to learn who you are. I’ll ask things like

What brought you to this new business?

What do you absolutely love about your job?

What does your ideal workday look like?

Who is your perfect customer?

I’ll get information from you to help me start writing the copy for your site. We’ll also explore some sample websites so that I can get ideas for colors and fonts. Do we want to add some bling to the site or keep it clean and straightforward…I need to get a feel for who I’m writing this website for…both you and the people you want to appeal to.

From there, each project is a little different—we might need to schedule a second exploratory conversation, or I might just get going with the design. As I get some pages designed, we’ll schedule more Zoom calls so I can demo what I’ve already got before I get too far into the process. If you don’t love it, I find out why, and we fix it.

All my websites include initial Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to help get you found on Google and other search engines. I also offer ongoing SEO for a monthly fee.

In addition, you might find that I can’t help but offer some general business advice – having been in business since 2007, I’ve picked up a thing or two. I’m almost like a business coach or mentor who also writes websites!
